Our Pledge
We, as contributors and maintainers, pledge to make participation in this project a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone. We are committed to communicating in a polite and constructive manner, and to upholding values that empower the public, respect nature, and support a diverse and sustainable community.
Our Values
Polite Communication: All participants will communicate with courtesy, empathy, and respect. Disagreement is no excuse for poor manners or personal attacks.
Public Empowerment: We strive to create software and hardware that empowers individuals and communities, providing accessible and usable solutions for all.
Respect for Nature & Sustainability: We encourage and support actions and decisions that lower our environmental footprint, both in our project and its broader impact. Contributors are invited to share ideas and practices that support sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Diversity & Inclusion: We welcome participants of any gender, race, culture, sexual orientation, religion, ability, or background. Discrimination or exclusion will not be tolerated.
Openness: We support open collaboration and transparency at every stage of the project.
Our Standards
Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:
- Using welcoming and inclusive language
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
- Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
- Focusing on what is best for the community
- Showing empathy towards other community members
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- The use of sexualized language or imagery, or unwelcome sexual attention
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission
- Any other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate
Our Responsibilities
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.
Scope This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community.
Enforcement Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project maintainers at info@evectors.ch. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances.
This Code of Conduct is adapted to reflect our project’s commitment to public empowerment, respect for nature, sustainability, and diversity. Thank you for helping us make this a welcoming, respectful, and impactful community!
