eVECTORS MBSE was build using following softwares:

LICENCES

Capella is developed by Thales Global Services and is provided in Open Source access under Eclipse Public License - v 2.0(Licenses/)

Ecodesign plugin for Capella is developped by OBEO but proprietory. A licence shall be asked to OBEO. Please contact OBEO Marketing Manager Frédéric Madiot for further information. Note that OBEO has a Academic partenership program with free licences.

The OpenLCA is provided by GreenDelta and is provided in Open Source access under Mozilla Public License Version 2.0

Installation Ecodesign 0.11.0 for Capella 7.0.1

  1. Install Ecodesign for Capella by unzipping the archive Ecodesign for Capella - 0.11.0 - No License.zip. It is recommanded to unzip to a folder in the root of C: to avoid problem with long path.
  2. Open Capella by double clicing on Ecodesign for Capella - 0.11.0\capella\capella.exe
  3. Install the licence:
  4. In capella, clic on Help > Install new software...
  5. clic on Add...
  6. Enter Name: Licence
  7. Clic on Archive and select the ZIP file containing the licence
  8. Clic Add
  9. Select the four packages:
    1. License Key
  10. Clic on Next, Finish
  11. In the Trust window, select Unsigned and clic Trust Selected
  12. Clic on Restart Now
  13. Download Requirements Viewpoint plugin for capella, version 0.14.0
  14. Install the Requirements Viewpoint plugin for capella:
  15. In capella, clic on Help > Install new software...
  16. clic on Add...
  17. Enter Name: Requirements Viewpoint
  18. Clic on Archive and select the downloaded archive Requirements-updateSite-0.14.0.202407170938.zip
  19. Clic Add
  20. Select the four packages:
    1. Capella Requirements Viewpoint,
    2. Capella Requirements Viewpoint Collaboration,
    3. Capella Requirements Viewpoint DocGen,
    4. Capella Requirements Viewpoint Tests
  21. Clic on Next, Next, Next
  22. Clic on Restart Now
  23. Install th XHTML DocGen Add-on:
  24. In capella, clic on Help > Install new software...
  25. clic on Add...
  26. Enter Name: XHTML
  27. Enter Location: https://download.eclipse.org/capella/addons/xhtmldocgen/updates/releases/7.0.1/
  28. Clic Add
  29. Select the plugin Capella XHTML DocGen Add-on
  30. Clic on Next, Next, Next
  31. Clic on I accept the terms of the license agreement, and on Finish
  32. Clic on Restart Now

To open the model

Once the installation is up and running, you can open the eVECTORS model.

  • Open Capella software
  • In capella
File > Open Porjects from File System ...
  • In the dialog box, clic on
Directory ...
  • Select the folder names "eVectors" in the downloaded file, and clic on
Select Folder
  • Leave default selections and clic on
Finish

The model is loaded and can be browsed.
